I am a first-year student at Russian Academy of Justice. I study at the Faculty of Law.

Law is a very challenging field of knowledge. It takes a very well-educated person to make a good lawyer. The lawyer should be good not only at law but also at other subjects, such as psychology, sociology, ethics, management and others, because he deals mostly with people and must understand their problems. It is obvious that the lawyer should be aware of his great personal responsibility. He must be honest, tactful, tolerant, be an experienced and knowledgeable specialist.

Now many people in Russia try new activities in small and medium business, banking, restaurant catering, hotel management, tourist industry, etc. Some of them start up their own firms but are ignorant of even the fundamental legal basis. So, there is a great demand for lawyers in our labour market.

When I graduate from RAJ I hope to find a job, which is both challenging and rewarding. The legal skills we obtain at RAJ may be applied to many different fields.
