A clinical case of obstetrics with additional studies is proposed. It is necessary to formulate a complete clinical diagnosis, indicate a survey plan, a management plan.

• Anomalies of labor.

• Obstetric hemorrhage.

• Preeclampsia, eclampsia.

• Pregnancy and extragenital pathology.

• Sepsis in obstetrics.

• Anatomically and clinically narrow pelvis.

Competition time - 30 minutes.

The maximum number of points for the competition - 40 points.

 

3) "Clinical case (gynecology)".

A case report on gynecology with additional research is proposed. It is necessary to formulate a complete clinical diagnosis, indicate a survey plan, a management plan.

Subject of the competition:

• “Acute abdomen” in gynecology.

• Inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs.

• Endometriosis.

• Hyperplastic processes of the endometrium.

• Cancer of the cervix, body of the uterus and ovaries.

• Trophoblastic disease.

• Uterine fibroids.

Competition time - 30 minutes.

The maximum number of points for the competition - 40 points.

 

Stage - Practical Stage

1) Surgical suture.

It is proposed to impose on the dummy 3 types of stitches: a simple knotted suture, intracutaneous (cosmetic) suture, Donatti suture on incisions 5 cm long. Instruments (Gegar needle holder, needle, tweezers, obtuse general surgical scissors) and suture material are provided. Use of your tools is permitted.

Criteria for evaluation:

Aesthetics:

• 5 points - uniform intervals between stitches, uniform tightening of knots, lack of "accordions", tightening and other deformations;

• 2.5 points - uneven spacing between stitches or uneven tightening of knots,

• 0 points - irregular gaps between stitches, uneven tightening of knots, the presence of "harmonicas", tightening and other deformations.

Proper work with tools (safety when handling tools and a needle, accuracy when working with fabrics):

• 5 points - full compliance with the principles of accurate, safe and efficient work with tools;

• 2.5 points - potentially dangerous manipulations with tools and a needle that can injure tissues (improper action with a tool, excessive sweeping movements with a tool);

• 0 points - gross violations of work safety

• 5 points - up to 10 minutes;

• 2.5 points - 10-15 minutes;

• 0 points - not fulfilled in 15 minutes

Competition time - up to 15 minutes.

The maximum number of points for the competition - 15 points for each seam.

The overall rating of the participant is the arithmetic average of all

jury members.

 

2) "Maintenance of complicated labor on a robotic dummy."

It is necessary to formulate a diagnosis, decide on the tactics of childbirth and justify the chosen tactics, tell the indications and conditions for conducting the selected benefit, provide the necessary allowance or operation during the delivery.

Thematic of the clinical situation:

1) Preeclampsia, eclampsia.

2) Conducting labor in acute fetal hypoxia (in head or pelvic presentation).

3) Premature detachment of a normally located placenta.

4) Bleeding in the third stage of labor and the early postpartum period.

5) Difficult birth of the fetus.

6) Anomalies of labor.

Time to think about 10 minutes.

The maximum number of points for the competition is 50 points.

The overall rating of the participant is the arithmetic average of all

jury members.

 

The criteria of some competitions are developed in the process of preparing tasks, so the maximum points indicated in the position can be changed.

But the overall rating of the contests remains the same: the maximum cost in points is retained in the Contest for Conducting Complicated Childbirth on a Robotic Manikin, then the Surgical Suture, then the Clinical Case (Obstetrics, Gynecology), and Testing the lowest score.
