God says, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn ( привлек )you with loving kindness” (Jeremiah 31:3).
There’s a Danish ( датская )proverb: “The next mile( милю ) is the only one a person really has to make.” The knowledge that God loves you will keep you going when the next mile seems intolerably ( невыносимо ) long: “For I am convinced ( убежден ) that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate ( отделить ) us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38,39) Our faith rests in what God has revealed ( открыл , явил ) about Himself to us. He wants us to believe and rely ( полагаться ) on His love for us: “…the Lord delights ( получает удовольствие , наслаждение ) in those who fear [reverence] ( чтит ) him, who put their hope in his unfailing love” (Psalms 147:11). “…the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love.” (Psalms 33:18) King David, whom God referred to ( на кого Бог ссылается ) “as a man after my own heart”1 trusted God’s love: “…I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress ( крепость ), my refuge ( прибежище ) in times of trouble. O my strength, I sing praise to you; you, O God, are my fortress, my loving God” (Psalms 59:16,17).
Psalm 36:5 -7 Can anyone really comprehend ( понимать , постигать )"unconditional" ( безусловную ) love? It seems the love that parents have for their children is as close to unconditional love as we can get without the help of God's love in our lives. We continue ( продолжаем ) to love our children through good times and bad, and we don't stop loving them if they don't meet 9 отвечают ) the expectations ( ожиданиям )we may have for them. We make a choice ( выбор ) to love our children even when we consider ( считаем ) them unlovable; our love doesn't stop when we don't "feel" love for them. This is similar ( похоже , подобна ) to God's love for us, but as we shall see, God's love transcends ( превышает , превосходит ) the human ( человеческое ) definition ( определение ) of love to a point ( до такой степени ) that is hard for us to comprehend ( осознать , постич ). Another great verse about God's love is found in Romans 5:8 , "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." In this verse ( стих ) and in John 3:16 , we find no conditions placed on God's love for us. God doesn't say, "as soon as you clean up your act ( дела , поступки ), I'll love you; " nor does He say, "I'll sacrifice my Son if you promise to love Me." In fact, in Romans 5:8 , we find just the opposite ( противоположное ). God wants us to know that His love is unconditional ( безусловная ), so He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us while we were still unlovable sinners. We didn't have to get clean, and we didn't have to make any promises to God before we could experience His love. His love for us has always existed ( существовала ), and because of that, He did all the giving and sacrificing long before we were even aware ( были осведомлены , узнали ) that we needed His love. God's love is personal He will still wait for that day when you begin to accept ( принимать ) him and realize that he wants to rain down upon you that awesome ( потрясающую ) perfect ( совершенную ) unconditional ( безусловную ) love. That love is there and it will always be there, just waiting for you. And the person who understands this incredible ( невероятную ) love and who has put their faith and trust in the hands of Jesus, knows beyond ( вне ) a doubt ( сомнения ), that Jesus will never ever give up (бросит, сдастся) on anyone . Your heavenly Father extends ( простирает , протягивает ) to you the full and complete ( полную ) privilege of being his child the moment that you turn to him and receive his forgiveness. And remember, the person who accepted ( принял ) Christ sixty seconds ago is as much ( в такой же степени ) a Christian as the person who has loved and faithfully served Christ for the last sixty years. God's love has no favorites (любимчики) God's love is a very generous (щедрая) love Think of all the times that he brought joy and happiness and contentment ( удовлетворенность ) into your life. Think of the long periods of time when you experienced ( испытывали ) excellent health, or all those times when others came into your life to help and aid ( оказать помощь ) you when you so needed it. Think of all the times that the Almighty Father prevented ( предотвратил , воспрепятствовал , остановил ) problems, accidents, ( несчастные случаи ) mishaps ( неприятные происшествия ), delays from entering ( чтобы они не вошли ) into your life. We will never know in this life all the times that he has shown his great love to us. |
