Is (it, there) any difference between the English of the USA and British English? Look for yourself. The British and the Americans understand each other without (much, many) difficulty. But there (is, are) a number of differences in vocabulary, pronunciation and spelling. For example, there is (not, no) letter " u" in such words (as, like) " colour, labour".
