The Present Simple/Present Progressive Tense.



 

Exercise 13. Read, choose and mark your answers. " A" stands for " right ", " B" stands for " wrong " (in this case correct the sentence, please).


1. Tom is in his room. He plays the piano.

The Present Perfect Tense

FOR/ SINCE/ AGO

Exercise 15. Fill in the blanks with the proper preposition. Use either " fo r" or " since " or " ago ". Mark your answers with letters A, B or C. " A " stands for " for ", " B " stands for " since " and " C " stands for " ago ". Pay attention to the verb tense form used in the sentence.

1. Dad isn't at home. He went to work an hour......

The Present Perfect Continuous Tense

Exercise 16. Put the verbs in brackets in the Present Perfect Continuous Tense.

– I'm repairing my son's bicycle. I (do) it for two hours.

2. I'll call for an ambulance. She (get) weaker and weaker since she had breakfast.

3. Hurry up, John. I'm waiting for you. You (have a bath) for an hour.

The Past Indefinite/Past Simple Tense
