Хід уроку

Warm up 1. Disappearing words game (school subjects)

2. Start a day-of-the-week chain round the class

Revision 3. Read Ex.3, p.28;

Presentation 4. Ex.1, p.30 (listen and repeat)

· Active listening, while looking at the pictures.

· Pupils take turns to read out the words.

· Ask pupils to make up sentences with the new words

4. Ex.2, p.30 (pupils read the sentences and complete them with the suitable word combinations)

Practice 3. Ex.3, p.31 (ask and answer, pair work)

· Books open, pupils listen and read the dialogue.

· Ask: How many books are there on the table? How many books are there on the shelf?

· Read the sentences, pupils read after you.

· Pay pupils’ attention to the words “this/these – here” and “that/those – there”

Extra Game

· Put real school things round the class, drill each of the words.

· One pupil is a guide, he/she shows classroom and school things.
