Мета: навчальна: презентувати новий  лексичний матеріал за темою; практикувати мовні засоби з темою; практикувати учнів у читанні тексту за темою уроку з добуванням детальної інформації; підготувати до самостійного висловлювання про свою родину на основі прочитаного тексту; практикувати учнів в аудіюванні тексту за темою уроку в пред’явленні вчителя; розвивальна: розвивати фонематичний слух учнів, здатність до імітування, розширювати їхній філологічний кругозір; розвивати мовну здогадку, вміння порівнювати, узагальнювати явища, о вивчаються, робити власні висновки; розвивати слухову пам'ять; виховна: виховувати почуття любові до своєї родини.

Обладнання: картки за темою «Моя сім’я» , плакат «Дієслово “To Be”»

Хід уроку

Warm up 1. Sing a song (mp3 “How are you”)

Revision 2. Read Ex.1, p.42

Presentation 3. Look and say Ex.1, p.44

· Look at the pictures of the family. Read their names.

· Ask: What is the boy’s name? Has he got sisters? Has he got cousins? What is her name?

· Drill the pronunciation of the family words

· Point out the form and meaning of the possessive singular “’s” giving several examples of pupils’ possession in the classroom. Write several examples on the board

· Read the sentences about this family tree using the pattern

Extra Revise family words using the flashcards. Write the words on the board and ask pupils to spell them, draw the pupils’ attention to the word ‘daughter’

Practice 4. Ex.2, p.44 (ask and answer in pairs)

Listening 5. Ex.3, p.44

· books open, pupils look at the pictures and answer the questions: Who are in the picture? How many children are there in the family? Are the children young or old?

· listen to the text twice

· pupils identify the characters of the story

Reading 6. Ex.3, p.44 (agree or disagree, pair work)

Speaking7. Ex.3, p.44 (complete the sentences)

· pupils read the sentences silently and choose the suitable words

· then they read the sentences aloud

· ask several pupils to tell about their own families

· revise numbers playing a Number Game

· clap a number of times and ask the class to say a number

· write the words ‘one’, ‘ten’, ‘twenty’ up to ‘one hundred’. Ask individual pupils to come and draw numbers beside the words

· do choral and individual repetition of numbers 10-100

розвивальна: розвивати різні типи пам’яті - слухову, зорову; розвивати здатність самостійно планувати мовленнєвий вчинок шляхом залучення учні до іншомовної діяльності з використанням ЛО, що вивчаються; розвивати образне уявлення, творчу увагу;

виховна: формувати доброзичливу атмосферу в класі, чисті аркуші паперу

Хід уроку

Warm up 1. Game Missing Number

Revision 2. Read Ex.5, p.47

Presentation 3. Listen and say Ex.1, p.48

· ask pupils in the mother tongue whether they know what these people’s jobs are.

· Read the sentences while pupils listen and read silently

· Write the words on the board and ask pupils to mime them

· Do choral and individual repetition of jobs

· Talk about different jobs in the mother tongue. Would any pupils like to do the jobs shown here when they grown up?

b) Make up your dialogues about other jobs. Stick pictures on the board

Silent Dictation

Hold up a picture of a job, pupils write down the words. Two pupils write the dictation on the board.
