Конечно, желательно, чтобы в этой работе как-то прозвучали ответы на вопросы, которые были заданы на семинарах, получили развитие идеи, которые вы услышали в лекциях. Однако, самое главное, - продемонстрировать собственный подход автора эссе, его желание и способность к самостоятелной работе. Поэтому, мы предлагаем здесь различные варианты эссе, в стиле которых можно выстроить заключительную работу.

А. “Заявка на грант”

Стилистика этого жанра хорошо описана во всех рекомендациях к написанию заявок на гранты (например, в брошюре Московского научного фонда). В тексте работы должен быть обоснован научный интерес к исследованию какой-либо научной проблемы, проанализирована имеющаяся в этой области литература, публикации и предложен свой собственный путь исследования, применимая методология и определенный методический аппарат.

Б. “Критический обзор”

Выделив в качестве основной какую-либо из социологических проблем - например, конфликт в организации, бригадную форму организации труда, процесс приватизации и т.п., проанализируйте имеющиеся на эту тему работы. Попробуйте представить в эссе весь спектр представленных мнений. Какие сюжет являются основными, а какие - периферийными? Почему авторы обходят определенные вопросы, избегают ставить какие-то исследовательские задачи? Если рассматривать тематизацию в рамках избранного вами направления в историческом контексте, то что стоит за колебаниями исследовательского интереса, научной моды?

В. “Новая идея: эссе-рецензия”

Если в ходе вашей учебной работы вы обнаружили интересную для себя статью, попробуйте отреферировать ее. Для того, чтобы реферат стал эссе, в нем кроме изложения идей, содержащихся в книге, статье, должны содержаться ваши размышления по этому поводу. Как то, что предлагается в обсуждаемой работе, связано с существующими теоретическими традициями? Как можно использовать предложенную автором методологию анализа, форму интерпретации? Имеют ли выводы, сделанные автором приложение к другим, известным вам данным, полевым материалам, наблюдениям?

Г. “Обсуждение полевых материалов”

Предположим, вы уже располагаете какими-либо данными, которые хотели бы переосмыслить заново, с использованием новых идей и методов. Попробуйте подготовить научное сообщение такого рода. Оно, возможно, может оказаться при дальнейшей доработке, статьей в научный сборник или журнал.

Конечно, предложенные стилистические варианты не исчерпывают всего разнообразия форм заключительного эссе. Выберете для себя наиболее подходящий и попробуйте его реализовать.
